First issue introduces main character "Bearcat" on a road trip with her boyfriend Andy. She's blissfully going along her way until a clerk congratulates her on her pregnancy...but she isn't 'expecting' at all. Then it seems wherever they go, her pizza loving pudge is being pointed out.
FREE CANDY #2
Bearcat meets with her friend Joslin at a bar for a "girls night out." Topics include dating a religious extremist, the paradox of feminism, and dealing with a confused skinhead.
FREE CANDY #3
Bearcat arrives at the Tattoo shop only to be greeted with a slippery mess and a crazy "customer."
